Please note that any image, video or other content uploaded by Users on the 7Sea website becomes published material; for this reason it cannot be considered "personal information" and is therefore not subject to this Privacy Policy.

1. Device&Care Sagl as Data Controller

Device&Care Sagl acts as Data Controller with respect to the personal information of Users and visitors to the 7Sea website.

Why do we process personal information? In order to fulfil the Contract or comply with legal obligations, Device&Care Sagl collects personal data obtained from the User when filling in contact, registration, order, payment and billing forms on our website.

Device&Care Sagl subsequently processes data received from the User or other persons while using 7Sea or visiting our website:

  • cookies (cookies are small text files stored in your device's browser used to save information needed for our technology to work correctly). We use various cookies for user authentication, user preferences and monitoring of our marketing campaigns. You may delete or disable cookies, but this will prevent the use of our technology;
  • log files (IP addresses or other online identifiers).

For how long is personal data processed? The User's personal data is processed for the duration of the Contract and subsequently for the time necessary to ensure the security of the service and compliance with obligations arising from specific legal provisions.

2. Device&Care Sagl as Data Processor

Device&Care Sagl provides the user with data storage space on Device&Care Sagl's servers. The User's data may include personal data of other individuals (Data Subjects). With respect to this personal data, Device&Care Sagl acts as Data Processor. The User acts as Data Controller. Pursuant to Article 28 of the GDPR, the Controller and the Processor (Device&Care Sagl) enter into a Data Processing Agreement, available on request.

What is the purpose of processing and how is data handled? Device&Care Sagl does not interfere with the User's data and does not modify, disclose, grant access to or provide it to third parties (except when it is necessary to make it available to state authorities in accordance with the law), except for its storage on servers, unless otherwise agreed in the Contract. The sole purpose of processing this personal data is its storage and the possibility of making it available to the User.

3. Recipients and Processors of Personal Data

Device&Care Sagl does not transmit personal information to any other Data Controller.

The Processors of personal data are:

  • companies or business entities engaged in accounting, responsible for carrying out accounting operations;
  • companies or business operators in the IT (Information Technology) sector, responsible for IT administration and the development of software programmes used by 7Sea;
  • companies or business-to-business providers offering server-related services, for the purpose of storing data;
  • companies providing payment services;
  • companies providing e-mail messaging services;
  • companies providing domain registration services;
  • companies providing authentication services through social media platforms.

Personal data may be provided to state authorities under certain conditions.

4. Rights of Data Subjects

As a Data Subject (a person to whom the data relates) you have the right to:

  • the right of access;
  • the right to rectification;
  • the right to erasure;
  • the right to restriction of processing;
  • the right to object to processing;
  • the right to data portability;
  • the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority;
  • the right to be informed about the rectification or erasure of personal data or restriction of processing;
  • the right to be informed in the event of a personal data security breach;
  • the right to withdraw consent to the processing of personal data.

The User's rights as a Data Subject are described in detail in EU Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR).

Consent may be withdrawn in writing at any time, and the Data Subject's other rights may be exercised at any time.
